Canal Challenge 2016

What fantastic weather to celebrate our 3rd annual Canal Challenge. Over 40 of our supporters, including some 4-legged ones, enjoyed a stroll in the sunshine as they made their way from Carnforth to Lancaster and raising over £600.

Witches' Way Challenge 2016

Nothing like 6 hours of rain to make a 23 mile challenge even tougher but we did it and with a smile on our face too. Making lots of news friends, along the way, we are very pleased to announce that this year's Witches Way raised just over £2,900.

Canal Charity Challenge - Saturday 18th April 2015

This year the weather was on our side! Over 40 of us walked the 10-mile challenge in glorious sunshine from Carnforth to Lancaster and managed to raise over £1,327. Have a look at our fantastic supporters (and four legged friends) that took part and the picturesque sights of the canal along the way in our photos from this year's event.

Witches Way Challenge - Midsummer's Eve 20th June 2015

Supporters from across the UK braved the Witches Way Challenge this year: a 23 mile forest and fell adventure. Heavy rain and winds didn't dampen our spirits and by the end of the challenge the sun came out to greet us on our descent into Lancaster. This year our challengers raised over £3,800! We hope that even more supporters will join the team next year for this unique walk that retraces the steps the Lancashire Witches took over 400 years ago. Have a look through this year's pictures and see if you want to take on the Witches Way Challenge 2016!

Solidarity Sleep Out - Saturday 11th April 2015

The Solidarity Sleep Out was an opportunity to work with other Manchester-based street-children charities to help mark and draw attention to the International Day of the Street Child. A 'real eye-opener' confessed many of our fundraisers. We spoke to passers by on Manchester's busy Oxford Road about the issues facing street children and live music was performed by some of our amazing supporters. We'd like to say a big thank you to those who took part in the sleep, helping raise much needed awareness of the children who have to endure sleeping on the streets every night!

Can't make it to any of our events but interested in fundraising and raising awareness of what we do? We are looking for charity ambassadors to help join in our global volunteer team.
